Based near Brittany in France, Emmanuel Pajot is a communicator as his icon-filled works show. Although his roots are firmly in visual arts Pajot is a former broadcast journalist who swapped his radio station microphone for a paintbrush. His father was a professional artist who was employed to copy masterpieces by Amedeo Clemente Modigliani and even allowed a young Emmanuel to do the lips on one portrait.

On the transition from journalist to full-time artist Pajot says he didn't want to get to retirement age without fully realising his passion for art. Now with exhibitions at the Beaux Art in Rennes and the Art Club in Paris under his belt, he's taking a cross channel foray into the London art scene.

Pajot cites Pop Art, Surrealism, Comic book art and Street Art as his influences with his busy giant canvasses showing evidence of all of the above in liberal proportions.
