Leanne Broadbent is a British contemporary artist currently living and working by the seaside in East Yorkshire's popular Bridlington resort. She was born in Hull.

She has been exhibiting nationally and undertaking residences in stately homes, primary schools also leading independent workshops since 2006. Her mixed media work is inspired by children's literature – a fascination that began whilst studying for her BA (Hons) Fine Art Degree.

She mostly focuses on the nonsensical fantasy literature of Lewis Carroll, fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and iconic comic books. These latest works are highly esteemed and have been featured on national television in an interview with Paul Heiney (ITV1- Country Wise: 2011). More recently they have been utilized in many of her new product ranges.

In 2013 Leanne will be included in many exciting projects including a debut in North Yorkshire Open Studios, group exhibitions in London and a touring exhibition which will see her work displayed in Iceland.
